Revelstoke Cob Oven Sept 22-24 2017

Come on out for Revelstoke’s first Earthen Built workshop!!

CANCELLED.

Sorry for having to cancel, but there are some bylaws that are preventing us from putting this course on within Revelstoke city limits. I will, in place, offer a Lime Rendering Workshop. I hope to be able to offer the oven workshop at another point, likely next spring. Sorry for any disappointments.

In this class, students will learn how to build and operate a wood fired cob oven. We will make cob and plaster, talk about heat and safety, and get creative with mud. Come prepared to get dirty!
Please bring yourself a lunch, we will provide some light snacks and water. We will, of course, finish it off with a pizza party in the new oven. Feel free to bring ingredients to build your own pizza. We will provide the dough, and basic toppings.
There are no accommodations available on site, so if you are coming from out of town, please book a place with one of our lovely hotels, motels, BnBs, or the hostel.

Location: Revelstoke BC
Dates: Sept 22-24, Fri-Sun, 2017
Times: 9:00 am-4:30 pm Sunday could be later with the pizza party.
Cost: $100-$200 sliding scale. We will email you with registration information and confirmation upon payment.
